To Find Home 03:18
It's Christmas we walk Like lovers enthralled The streets are so empty Except Asians and black Feels good to be back As if it's home See cops With machine guns I want to find home Depression, addiction The homeless, affliction State violence, aggression The cracks in the system The media controls you Your bosses enslave you The streets are your mirror Of Christmas day horror The homeless are homeless And money, the reason That you are delirious To think you are safe You're trapped in the serious Business of capital The streets are your enemy It feels like Bladerunner. Will you hold me; will you fight with me? It's Christmas day, I don't wanna see what I see And it's misery that makes the rich feel free

He says, lighting up a cigarette Human biology! Healthy? Bollox! Give me some more. More what? Tell me what I don't know TV land, The land of belief making Fuck understanding. Again, tell me! Tell me! Tell me so! TV sun rising every day, satellites revolving, barbs hanging low, all sizes to deliver the blow. Silent city, riches, for what? A momentary glare! Look at me, I'm there! Yeh You gonna be you, and he gonna be he, and she gonna be she. Why try and kid you, me, he, she? Eagle eye with the answers, what do you know? Fucker! Get me known. Yeh Fat capitalist bastards! Sitting at beach effect table on oak laminate floor, slurping drinks, fuck the starving few. Yeh How many 'starving few'? Are you sure? Well maybe a few more. Like millions and millions. Just a few more!

about

The idea of this EP was to have a song for each of the town/city visited, but only two songs made completion. Two more songs were conceived but they need a bit more polishing and messing around with; and perhaps they'll see the light of day in the near future.

Recorded between December 2019 and January 2020, on the road (in the UK!!!) with old friends.
